Custom braces and orthotics are specially made medical devices fitted to your anatomy and designed to provide support and pain relief.
Our experts at Nebraska Spine + Pain Center may prescribe bracing or orthotics to treat conditions, injuries, and misalignments that cause pain, such as spinal deformities, whiplash, and muscular strains.
During your office visit, your provider will conduct a thorough examination of the affected areas, such as your neck or lower back, to determine your candidacy for bracing or orthotics.
Bracing and orthotics may be used to:
- Modify abnormal movements
- Provide cushioning and support for painful conditions
- Treat chronic and acute conditions to improve your pain and function
- Help optimize postsurgical recovery
OUR CERTIFIED ORTHOTIC FITTER
Most bracing and orthotic devices will be fitted on-site by our experts at Nebraska Spine + Pain Center, including our certified orthotic fitter, Krista Johnson, M.S., L.A.T., A.T.C., C.F.o.
